Pino Bauweleers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Goffrey Hylen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Jochen Vercasteren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rocky Roelands came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the KV Achtendries fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rocky Roelands couldn't finish the play. The KV Achtendries fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Goffrey Hylen should have stopped the shot. Goffrey Hylen came out of the goal and Conrad Schollens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pino Bauweleers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Goffrey Hylen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Brent-Jan De Vorster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Achtendries and the AFC Alster players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pino Bauweleers couldn't finish the play. The AFC Alster supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Alster would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
