Robrecht Van den Broeck started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Wijnendaal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Luckas Voets hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Van Achten got free with Lucien Lingier in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jasper Turpin took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sam-Lucas Coryn. Sam-Lucas Coryn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Timy Goemyne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timy Goemyne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Lingier having to interfere. Lucien Lingier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robrecht Van den Broeck in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Turpin in the 28th minute of play forced SK Lotenhulle's goalkeeper Sam-Lucas Coryn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SK Lotenhulle booed when Wijnendaal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefaan Van Den Linden didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Jon Van Achten from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Lucien Lingier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gilian De Marrez kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Lucien Lingier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robrecht Van den Broeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wijnendaal were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after SK Lotenhulle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nickolas De Custer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Wijnendaal's corner Nickolas De Custer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sam-Lucas Coryn quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Wijnendaal getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Stefaan Van Den Linden hit a great ball. Jon Van Achten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucien Lingier. Wijnendaal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Wijnendaal getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mario Van Impe hit a great ball. Timy Goemyne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lucien Lingier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jasper Turpin to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucien Lingier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timy Goemyne in the 53rd minute of play. After 56th play minutes Robrecht Van den Broeck shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Lucien Lingier and just under the crossbar into goal. Pierre-Alexandre De Kerpel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam-Lucas Coryn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Wijnendaal getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mario Van Impe hit a great ball. Stefaan Van Den Linden kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. SK Lotenhulle's Robrecht Van den Broeck got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wijnendaal's Mario Van Impe got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Mario Van Impe off the ground. Timy Goemyne struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Lucien Lingier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Lotenhulle. 79 minutes into the game, Robrecht Van den Broeck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lucien Lingier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robrecht Van den Broeck in the 83rd minute of play forced Wijnendaal's goalkeeper Lucien Lingier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucien Lingier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robrecht Van den Broeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Luckas Voets was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wijnendaal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Lotenhulle the free kick. Gilian De Marrez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wijnendaal's Luckas Voets got a free kick in the 98th minute. SK Lotenhulle's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
