Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tibet Özcan made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Siebe Van den Driesch sent off a good shot on target. Tibet Özcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Van Hooveldt in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Florea in the 19th minute of play forced Malderen's goalkeeper Ramon Bracke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, The Flying Slunks's Lukas Deryckere made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Bracke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilbert Klaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tibet Özcan made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Deryckere in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Bracke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lukas Deryckere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, The Flying Slunks's Tibet Özcan got control of the ball when Gilbert Klaes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Siebe Van den Driesch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tibet Özcan made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Kempenaers during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The throw-in from Geordy Gyselinx in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Malderen's Goffrey Laurent. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niculae Florea to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Niculae Florea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Bracke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malderen's Siebe Van den Driesch couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Flying Slunks. Hendrik Westelinx hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes of play, Malderen's Gilbert Klaes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tibet Özcan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tibet Özcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Van Hooveldt in the 78th minute of play. The Flying Slunks's Tibet Özcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Van Hooveldt in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Malderen's Gilbert Klaes got a free kick in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Malderen's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Florea came free, but Ramon Bracke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Flying Slunks succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Malderen had controlled the match.
