Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Florea in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billie Stoorms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7 minutes, Niculae Florea made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Modave's Billie Stoorms tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, The Flying Slunks's goalkeeper Tibet Özcan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorne Deferme. 13 minutes into the match, FC Modave's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Florea came free, but Billie Stoorms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Fabien Bastin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes, The Flying Slunks's Pierrot Debrouwere shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Billie Stoorms came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Flying Slunks reached it. In the 22nd minute Lukas Deryckere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Renaud Van Eeckhout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibet Özcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Levi Swin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tibet Özcan. That made the score 1-2 in the 30 minute of play. The Flying Slunks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Ruben Boffin scored to the left of an out of position Tibet Özcan, making the score, 2-2. Tibet Özcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levi Swin in the 38th minute. Ruben Boffin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When The Flying Slunks's Niculae Florea in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Boffin to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Miguel Kempenaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorne Deferme in the 55th minute of play forced The Flying Slunks's goalkeeper Tibet Özcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes The Flying Slunks got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Beyls. In the 59th minute Niculae Florea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billie Stoorms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Florea in the 60th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when The Flying Slunks's Niculae Florea in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Billie Stoorms was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC Modave through an amazing save. Tibet Özcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorne Deferme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Niculae Florea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, The Flying Slunks's Niculae Florea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Billie Stoorms. Billie Stoorms yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 73rd play minute Lukas Deryckere came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Billie Stoorms. 2-4. Billie Stoorms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Deryckere in the 78th minute. Billie Stoorms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Florea in the 80th minute of play. With his leg Billie Stoorms managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when The Flying Slunks's Lukas Deryckere fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lukas Deryckere who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Billie Stoorms when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Niculae Florea managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Flying Slunks's supporters rose to their feet, but Niculae Florea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billie Stoorms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billie Stoorms made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Lukas Deryckere sent off a good shot on target. Tibet Özcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levi Swin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The Flying Slunks's Tibet Özcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levi Swin in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, The Flying Slunks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geordy Gyselinx to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, FC Modave's Ruben Boffin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibet Özcan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The FC Modave supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Flying Slunks's performance. The match ended with a win for The Flying Slunks.
