Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dimitri de Pelsmaker kicked off to start the match. Ludo Schautens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Senne Martens went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, KAA Beerdonk's Peter-Jan Boumans got a free kick in the 7th minute. Arnout Hosselaer struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Frederic Worteler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Beerdonk. Ludo Schautens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri de Pelsmaker in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Glaaien's zone, Arnout Hosselaer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederic Worteler came out of the goal and Arnout Hosselaer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Frederik Smedts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Glaaien's Frederic Worteler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Glaaien booed when KAA Beerdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibaut Skouten didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 29th minute, when SC Glaaien's Franck Kerstens after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Ludo Schautens in KAA Beerdonk's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Arnout Hosselaer took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederic Worteler. Frederic Worteler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 36th minute Dimitri de Pelsmaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludo Schautens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frederik Smedts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Hosselaer scored 1-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederic Worteler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnout Hosselaer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederik Smedts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederic Worteler made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Frederik Smedts sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of KAA Beerdonk booed when SC Glaaien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanick Stuckers didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frederik Smedts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, SC Glaaien's Senne Martens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludo Schautens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to SC Glaaien getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Yanick Stuckers hit a great ball. Frederik Smedts let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 74th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. Frederik Smedts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnout Hosselaer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frederic Worteler came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnout Hosselaer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, SC Glaaien's Frederic Worteler got control of the ball when Frederik Smedts tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 minutes, Yanick Stuckers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Glaaien and the KAA Beerdonk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yanick Stuckers hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by KAA Beerdonk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franck Kerstens was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Glaaien's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to SC Glaaien's Manuel Maerschalckx getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ludo Schautens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri de Pelsmaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. KAA Beerdonk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
