Jamie Putman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederic Schuts in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel Smidts got free with Joeri Demarrez in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Lionel Smidts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joeri Demarrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Greg Feys during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Greg Feys kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lionel Smidts was the one to do the kick off. If Timoteo Can had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAA Hody's goalkeeper Joeri Demarrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jóvenes FC's Nusret Özdağ got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jamie Putman made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Frederic Schuts sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on KAA Hody's corner Gunter Biesen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jamie Putman quite easily take care of the ball. Jóvenes FC's Jamie Putman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Van Poucke in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
