Robbie Portmans came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Enzo Switten could save by the left post. In the 28th minute, Brasschaat's Kristen Van Der Talen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Regis Van den Brul during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Xhavee's Regis Van den Brul got a free kick in the 31st minute. Xhavee's Sylven Hoeybroeck got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylven Hoeybroeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristen Van Der Talen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Switten having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristen Van Der Talen to make the kick off. Jammy Terwenhout might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederic Mallecots. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jammy Terwenhout ran back to his position shaking his head. Julius Cockx lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 69th minute, one of Brasschaat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brasschaat. Sylven Hoeybroeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Frederic Mallecots made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Brasschaat's zone, Sylven Hoeybroeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederic Mallecots came out of the goal and Sylven Hoeybroeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Serge Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jammy Terwenhout received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frederic Mallecots came out and tried to block the shot, but Jammy Terwenhout slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 83rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Frederic Mallecots successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Brasschaat's Frederic Mallecots got control of the ball when Sylven Hoeybroeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Robbie Portmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Robbie Portmans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sylven Hoeybroeck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Frederic Mallecots when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Xhavee had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
