Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jammy Terwenhout took the kick off in the first half of the match. Simon Ceulemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Enzo Switten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Xhavee booed when KSV Purnode was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Ceulemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Ceulemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Koppen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enzo Switten firmly grabbed it by the left post. KSV Purnode's Alan Schol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jammy Terwenhout in the 32nd minute of play. Sylven Hoeybroeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jammy Terwenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Schol having to interfere. With a little luck, Xhavee's Enzo Switten got control of the ball when Marco Koppen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes KSV Purnode got a freekick which was hit by Jos Van Geele. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by KSV Purnode's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nestor De Boeck was slow to take the kick. During this time Xhavee's players had a chance to rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Ceulemans was the one to do the kick off. Enzo Switten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Koppen in the 53rd minute of play. Marco Koppen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Switten having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Xhavee's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Koppen came free, but Enzo Switten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jammy Terwenhout came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Xhavee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jammy Terwenhout couldn't finish the play. KSV Purnode were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Xhavee for a fine match.
