Sem Van Der Weghen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hendrik-Jan De Vreese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannis de Pelsmaeker in the 12th minute of the match. Harry Van der Hoeven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hendrik-Jan De Vreese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Jordy Van Calster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luk Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Van Calster in the 22nd minute of play forced F.C. Futur's goalkeeper Luk Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Harry Van der Hoeven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Futur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Van der Hoeven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaggevinne's Hendrik-Jan De Vreese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannis de Pelsmaeker in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Kaggevinne booed when F.C. Futur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romain Van Cleijnenbreughel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylven Van Langhendonck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Luk Verduin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, F.C. Futur's Yannis de Pelsmaeker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hendrik-Jan De Vreese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The wind increased when Yannis de Pelsmaeker made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Kaggevinne defense, Yannis de Pelsmaeker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hendrik-Jan De Vreese. The Kaggevinne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hendrik-Jan De Vreese should have stopped the shot. Yannis de Pelsmaeker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Hendrik-Jan De Vreese skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yannis de Pelsmaeker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. F.C. Futur's Yannis de Pelsmaeker got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kaggevinne's Jordy Van Calster in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Futur's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Kaggevinne's Walter Stuycken got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, F.C. Futur's goal looked a bit too open when Georges Van Den Bosche came free, but Luk Verduin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yannis de Pelsmaeker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan De Vreese having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Kaggevinne's goal looked a bit too open when Yannis de Pelsmaeker came free, but Hendrik-Jan De Vreese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordy Van Calster struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Luk Verduin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaggevinne. F.C. Futur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
