The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adolf Van Beringen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy De Graef in the 6th minute of play. Jeremy De Graef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Adolf Van Beringen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gust Van de cauter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rafael Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudy Wynant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Dekeyser in the 19th minute of the match. Hilario Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Van Beringen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hilario Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Torenhof's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolf Van Beringen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute of the game, Hilario Mambru landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Basiel Van Espen charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basiel Van Espen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wemmel's Basiel Van Espen got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremy De Graef in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolf Van Beringen saved Wemmel from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacq Van den Panhuizen during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Torenhof booed when Wemmel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacq Van den Panhuizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Veremundo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolf Van Beringen. Adolf Van Beringen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Adolf Van Beringen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy De Graef, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Adolf Van Beringen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial De Tapp in the 44th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremy De Graef to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremy De Graef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolf Van Beringen having to interfere. In the 58th minute Rafael Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolf Van Beringen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Martial De Tapp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Rafael Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolf Van Beringen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolf Van Beringen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremy De Graef's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes of play, FC Torenhof's Martial De Tapp made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolf Van Beringen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the match, FC Torenhof's goalkeeper Rudy Wynant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emile Terreur. Jeremy De Graef recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jeremy De Graef came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Torenhof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy De Graef couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas-Jan Staes got free with Rudy Wynant in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Torenhof getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Olliver Hemelaers hit a great ball. Rafael Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the FC Torenhof players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
