Adolphe Poets started the match with the kick off. When Achilles De Cerpel came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Club Sint-Katelijne-Waver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilles De Cerpel couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Reinaud Pelleman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Franckx was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Reinaud Pelleman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kevin Franckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Franckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaud Pelleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Kevin Franckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Vervaet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Vervaet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Vervaet succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, KFC Ipsvoorde's Reinaud Pelleman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kevin Franckx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Van der Vloedt during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Club Sint-Katelijne-Waver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Van der Vloedt to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Franckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaud Pelleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolphe Poets scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benne Thijs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolphe Poets in the 60th minute of play forced KFC Ipsvoorde's goalkeeper Benne Thijs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Achilles De Cerpel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Club Sint-Katelijne-Waver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilles De Cerpel couldn't finish the play. When KFC Ipsvoorde's Reinaud Pelleman in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Sint-Katelijne-Waver's Achilles De Cerpel got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of KFC Ipsvoorde booed when Club Sint-Katelijne-Waver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achilles De Cerpel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Sint-Katelijne-Waver's Kevin Franckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaud Pelleman in the 78th minute of play. Kevin Franckx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Vervaet in the 80th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Yannis Steenbeeck put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in KFC Ipsvoorde fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Adolphe Poets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benne Thijs having to interfere. Kevin Franckx came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Ipsvoorde's Alexandre Vervaet. But to his dismay, Alexandre Vervaet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The KFC Ipsvoorde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KFC Ipsvoorde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
