In the 87th minute, Achilles De Cerpel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Schoonbroek's Thommy Rits played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilles De Cerpel in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Octaaf Marichal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Matt Vanooteghem came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Schoonbroek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Vanooteghem couldn't finish the play. The Schoonbroek players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
