Jens vrolijx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bobby Robijns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, KAA Assesse's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Procopio came free, but Jens vrolijx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fred Van Deijck fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAA Assesse's protests and gave Fred Van Deijck a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, KAA Assesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Van Deijck to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Stanny De Munck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Louis-Philippe Vanleene. Stanny De Munck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some careless play in the FC Cram 60 defense, Glen Depelsmaker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Louis-Philippe Vanleene. The FC Cram 60 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Louis-Philippe Vanleene should have stopped the shot. Godofredo Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fred Van Deijck kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Bobby Robijns made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, KAA Assesse's Piet Caspers got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanny De Munck in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Cram 60's goalkeeper Louis-Philippe Vanleene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louis-Philippe Vanleene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Paelinck in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, FC Cram 60 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert-Jan Thijs to maneuver through the defense. Jens vrolijx made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Frans Laeremans sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Õmblus got free with Jens vrolijx in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Louis-Philippe Vanleene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanny De Munck, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Jonas Õmblus fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cram 60's protests and gave Jonas Õmblus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KAA Assesse booed when FC Cram 60 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Õmblus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Cram 60 booed when KAA Assesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wes Paelinck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frans Laeremans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jens vrolijx made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Bobby Robijns dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens vrolijx, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KAA Assesse fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Cram 60 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
