Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Kristiaan Vounckx hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jarno de Pelsmaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristiaan Vounckx in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pellenberg's Stanny Helssen got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes Pellenberg got a freekick which was hit by Marnix Gijselinkx. 19 minutes into the game, Kristiaan Vounckx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jarno de Pelsmaker. Kristiaan Vounckx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pellenberg's Stanny Helssen got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loui Van Eynde in the 31st minute of play forced RSC Malegem's goalkeeper Michiel Vercouteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Senne Van Arschot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarno de Pelsmaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Stanny Helssen hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Pellenberg's Marnix Gijselinkx pulled a muscle in his leg after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Remco Uyttebroeck charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remco Uyttebroeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes RSC Malegem got a freekick which was hit by Remco Uyttebroeck. 43 minutes into the match, Loui Van Eynde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michiel Vercouteren. RSC Malegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loui Van Eynde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pellenberg's Jarno de Pelsmaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristiaan Vounckx in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loui Van Eynde to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, RSC Malegem's Kristiaan Vounckx made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarno de Pelsmaker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Loui Van Eynde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RSC Malegem's Michiel Vercouteren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save RSC Malegem from getting a goal against them. Remco Uyttebroeck kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Loui Van Eynde reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Michiel Vercouteren. The goal made the score 2-2. RSC Malegem's Kristiaan Vounckx got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarno de Pelsmaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristiaan Vounckx in the 84th minute of play. Senne Van Arschot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jarno de Pelsmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarno de Pelsmaker came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by RSC Malegem's Senne Van Arschot. But to his dismay, Senne Van Arschot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RSC Malegem had won after a very even match.
