In the 48th minute Ralf Bourgeois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoachim De Muijser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matty Uijterhoven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Dynamo Kiev booed when KFC Jabbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renzo Beullens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Dynamo Kiev's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Maerschalck came free, but Yoachim De Muijser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dynamo Kiev played a much better game than KFC Jabbeke and deserved their victory. The KFC Jabbeke players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
