Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thibaud Holemans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th match minute, Froid-Chapelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibau Gelens to maneuver through the defense. Dirk Winnepenninck charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dirk Winnepenninck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AFC Tongerlo's Dirk Winnepenninck got a free kick in the 10th minute. Roland Kortens hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Rene Van Dongel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Floris Jooris skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimond Ladva got free with Tony Van Boekost in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thibaud Holemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tony Van Boekost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Floris Jooris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Vergau, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Froid-Chapelle's Floris Jooris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Buyck in the 27th minute of play. Floris Jooris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Buyck in the 31st minute of the match. Tony Van Boekost made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Raimond Ladva sent off a good shot on target. Raimond Ladva might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Van Boekost. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimond Ladva ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, AFC Tongerlo's goalkeeper Tony Van Boekost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimond Ladva. If Raimond Ladva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kenny Vergau to strike the kick off in the second half. Floris Jooris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Buyck in the 54th minute. Froid-Chapelle's Raimond Ladva got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Vergau in the 60th minute of play forced Froid-Chapelle's goalkeeper Floris Jooris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floris Jooris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Buyck in the 61st minute. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Thibaud Holemans sped through AFC Tongerlo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tony Van Boekost. Kenny Vergau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Floris Jooris came out and tried to block the shot, but Kenny Vergau slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 72nd minute. Thibaud Holemans took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Van Boekost. Tony Van Boekost dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Freddy Pelleman kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Froid-Chapelle's Tibau Gelens tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Raimond Ladva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Van Boekost was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Froid-Chapelle fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC Tongerlo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
