Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck made the kick off which started today's match. Stefaan Knockaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Paul Reniers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grandmenil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Reniers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominick Figaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewout Tuerlinckx having to interfere. When Paul Reniers came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Grandmenil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Reniers couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Christofere Duchateau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Reniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Paul Reniers came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Grandmenil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Reniers couldn't finish the play. If Paul Reniers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ewout Tuerlinckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominick Figaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Daniel Van Leempoel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Stefaan Knockaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grandmenil's Daniel Van Leempoel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefaan Knockaert in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Van Leempoel saved Grandmenil from getting behind. Daniel Van Leempoel came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by The Scorpions FC's Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck. But to his dismay, Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ewout Tuerlinckx was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Karel Bracke. After a rather tough play, The Scorpions FC's Ernst Verdeyen got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dominick Figaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Van Leempoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck in the 67th minute of play. Dominick Figaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ewout Tuerlinckx made a huge save. In the 70thth minute of the game Dominick Figaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Scorpions FC's Ewout Tuerlinckx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Paul Reniers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ewout Tuerlinckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Reniers in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Gunther Franckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Van Leempoel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 95 minutes of play, The Scorpions FC's Philippe-Arnaud Bosbeeck made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Van Leempoel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the The Scorpions FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
