Theo Swings made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudy Huts in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Danny Vischkens managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCVV Tildonk's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Vischkens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Swings breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Comblain-au-Pont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Uijterhoven to maneuver through the defense. Theo Swings made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Rudy Huts sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Danny Vischkens sped through Comblain-au-Pont's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Theo Swings. 16 minutes into the game, Aime Van Brussel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jo Maseur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tijs Raeimakers during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wes Van Craesbeeck shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 26th match minute, Comblain-au-Pont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf De Haes to maneuver through the defense. Aime Van Brussel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jo Maseur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FCVV Tildonk's Regis Van Havent got a free kick in the 31st minute. Rudy Huts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Swings having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Van Haerschot made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aime Van Brussel got free with Jo Maseur in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Comblain-au-Pont's Aime Van Brussel got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, FCVV Tildonk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaetan Kerkhofs to maneuver through the defense. Edward Van Haerschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comblain-au-Pont's Theo Swings played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Huts in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FCVV Tildonk's zone, Edward Van Haerschot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jo Maseur came out of the goal and Edward Van Haerschot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jo Maseur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Van Haerschot, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Aime Van Brussel sped through FCVV Tildonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jo Maseur. Michael Vercammen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Theo Swings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Vischkens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wes Van Craesbeeck's late challenge caught a Comblain-au-Pont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wes Van Craesbeeck helped the player get up and apologised. Wes Van Craesbeeck kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Rudy Huts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCVV Tildonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudy Huts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Huts in the 85th minute of play forced Comblain-au-Pont's goalkeeper Theo Swings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, FCVV Tildonk's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Van Haerschot came free, but Jo Maseur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Van Haerschot kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Andreas Uijterhoven took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jo Maseur. Jo Maseur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. FCVV Tildonk's Jo Maseur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Van Haerschot in the 95th minute of play. Comblain-au-Pont's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
