Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gregoire Turpin started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, FCVV Tildonk's Jo Maseur got control of the ball when Eike Strond tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eike Strond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eike Strond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Maseur having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregoire Turpin in the 15th minute of play forced FCVV Tildonk's goalkeeper Jo Maseur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jo Maseur stood somewhat misplaced when Gregoire Turpin came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. Jo Maseur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregoire Turpin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudy Huts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Erik Imbrechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, FCVV Tildonk's goalkeeper Jo Maseur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eike Strond. In the 33rd minute, Rudy Huts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gregoire Turpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregoire Turpin in the 37th minute of play forced FCVV Tildonk's goalkeeper Jo Maseur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gregoire Turpin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babs & Els Girls FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregoire Turpin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Maseur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Babs & Els Girls FC's Matthieu Knoops sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jo Maseur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danny Vischkens was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Goolen during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrik Goolen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Gregoire Turpin struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jo Maseur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babs & Els Girls FC. Jo Maseur came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Babs & Els Girls FC's Eike Strond. But to his dismay, Eike Strond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Rudy Huts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jo Maseur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregoire Turpin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Franck Goos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Gramet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, FCVV Tildonk's goal looked a bit too open when Eike Strond came free, but Jo Maseur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gregoire Turpin sped through FCVV Tildonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jo Maseur. Gregoire Turpin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jo Maseur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babs & Els Girls FC. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gregoire Turpin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCVV Tildonk's Jo Maseur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jo Maseur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eike Strond went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Babs & Els Girls FC had won after a very even match.
