Flávio Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Douglas Engelberchs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Flávio Maranhense notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Gerda Waasland SN's Douglas Engelberchs. Douglas Engelberchs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BLUE-ARMY's Harald De Bisschop got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robbie Knockaert took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Engelberchs. Douglas Engelberchs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 21 played minutes FC Gerda Waasland SN got a freekick which was hit by Christoff Huybrechts. Harald De Bisschop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flávio Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Douglas Engelberchs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Engelberchs guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Flávio Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robbie Knockaert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BLUE-ARMY's Rickard Ahlroht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ketelers in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Flávio Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Engelberchs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Douglas Engelberchs managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when BLUE-ARMY's Robbie Knockaert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flávio Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Robbie Knockaert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BLUE-ARMY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. BLUE-ARMY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
