After 16 minutes of play, BLUE-ARMY's Flávio Maranhense made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabin Zdrelea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sabin Zdrelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Sabin Zdrelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Maranhense in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Robbie Knockaert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The BLUE-ARMY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Flávio Maranhense took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sabin Zdrelea to make any attempt to save it. Elpidio Toribio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rickard Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasper Sterckmans might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rickard Ahlroht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Sterckmans ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 played minutes BLUE-ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Gummeson. Sabin Zdrelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Red Bull Predators's Sabin Zdrelea got control of the ball when Harald De Bisschop tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Flávio Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the BLUE-ARMY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Maranhense couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, BLUE-ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald De Bisschop to maneuver through the defense.
