In the 17th minute, Jose Paaps got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC The Special Ones's Jorre Pastijns got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theo Du Molins short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ewout Van Cauwenberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute Jorre Pastijns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Van De Broeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorn Kints in the 45th minute of play forced FC The Special Ones's goalkeeper Ewout Van Cauwenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Van De Broeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Paaps in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Paaps made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jorre Pastijns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ewout Van Cauwenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Du Molin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ewout Van Cauwenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Du Molin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC The Special Ones's Stephen Borglevens got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jose Paaps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Van De Broeck having to interfere. FC The Special Ones's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
