In the 14th minute, Reinard Du Molin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jonas Van Acht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benoit Elssen, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pieter Sterkx during the 34th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Joop Colebrandts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gust Theuniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kris Smeyers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diederick Koppens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Smeyers having to interfere. When Gust Theuniers came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the VC Doorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gust Theuniers couldn't finish the play. Diederick Koppens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivo Theunis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
