K.V. De Sigaren's Martin Lambrechs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reemy De Malier in the 20th minute of play. Martin Lambrechs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathis Wuttemans in the 22nd minute of the match. Martin Lambrechs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathis Wuttemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Etienne Maerschalck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Diederik Van Beetz made a huge save. When K.V. De Sigaren's Iwo Dunajski in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sclessin's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Wietrzychowski in the 36th minute of play forced Sclessin's goalkeeper Diederik Van Beetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De Sigaren booed when Sclessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertan Wery didn't get a good kick on the ball. K.V. De Sigaren's Iwo Dunajski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diederik Van Beetz but with some difficulty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Etienne Maerschalck to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Wietrzychowski in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diederik Van Beetz saved Sclessin from getting behind. The supporters of K.V. De Sigaren booed when Sclessin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roel Goons didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Iwo Dunajski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diederik Van Beetz skillfully saved the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Etienne Maerschalck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diederik Van Beetz. Sclessin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Etienne Maerschalck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Sclessin's Roel Goons got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Iwo Dunajski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diederik Van Beetz. Sclessin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Etienne Maerschalck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in K.V. De Sigaren reached it. When Etienne Maerschalck came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the K.V. De Sigaren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Etienne Maerschalck couldn't finish the play. K.V. De Sigaren's Martin Lambrechs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathis Wuttemans in the 76th minute of play. Anthonio Peers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Lambrechs. K.V. De Sigaren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Etienne Maerschalck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iwo Dunajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute of the match Pieterjan Anthonis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diederik Van Beetz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Etienne Maerschalck made a precise shot to the right of Diederik Van Beetz. Sclessin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. K.V. De Sigaren fully deserved thier win.
