Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ignace Servranckx started the match with the kick off. After 9 minutes, Conrad Rutten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Heuvelgem and the Welle players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute Welle were awarded a corner. Lionel Van Poucke went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Welle's corner Lionel Van Poucke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xander-Paul Van Looy quite easily take care of the ball. If Ignace Servranckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Jan-Simon Van der Weijden notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Welle's Fre De Munck. Fre De Munck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Welle getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gunter Tkint hit a great ball. Robert Heijligem was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erik-Jan Reijnders who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Xander-Paul Van Looy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Conrad Rutten was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to KV Heuvelgem getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Conrad Rutten hit a great ball. Erik-Jan Reijnders did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Xander-Paul Van Looy 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, KV Heuvelgem's Alek Debock got a free kick in the 35th minute. Erik-Jan Reijnders who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Xander-Paul Van Looy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41stth minute of the game Tobias Algoedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Heuvelgem's Xander-Paul Van Looy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, KV Heuvelgem's Xander-Paul Van Looy got control of the ball when Erik-Jan Reijnders tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xander-Paul Van Looy had great luck who in the 43rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Tobias Algoedt from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The supporters of Welle booed when KV Heuvelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignace Servranckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wes Capellemans struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Xander-Paul Van Looy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Welle. 48 minutes into the match, KV Heuvelgem's goalkeeper Xander-Paul Van Looy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik-Jan Reijnders.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Algoedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Xander-Paul Van Looy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik-Jan Reijnders in the 52nd minute of the match. Xander-Paul Van Looy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik-Jan Reijnders went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute Tobias Algoedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xander-Paul Van Looy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xander-Paul Van Looy came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Welle's Tobias Algoedt. But to his dismay, Tobias Algoedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 72nd minute of the match, Jan-Simon Van der Weijden got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fre De Munck was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Steven Fraes's late challenge caught a KV Heuvelgem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steven Fraes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Steven Fraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jan-Simon Van der Weijden came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the KV Heuvelgem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Simon Van der Weijden couldn't finish the play. KV Heuvelgem's Xander-Paul Van Looy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik-Jan Reijnders in the 78th minute of play. Jan-Simon Van der Weijden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fre De Munck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Welle booed when KV Heuvelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alek Debock didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Welle's Tobias Algoedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xander-Paul Van Looy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Algoedt in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xander-Paul Van Looy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute, Ignace Servranckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 100 minutes into the match, KV Heuvelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Algoedt came free, but Xander-Paul Van Looy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Welle walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
