Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thommy Saelens took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jeremie Van Den Broeck charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremie Van Den Broeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeremie Van Den Broeck hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, one of KFC Waalshoek:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KFC Waalshoek. Jerome Coomans shot the penalty kick right outside the post. J.P. J.J. showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Opdebeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 27 minutes into the match, KFC Waalshoek's goal looked a bit too open when Luckas Dierickx came free, but J.P. J.J. reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Eddy Justens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. J.P. J.J. was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, KFC Waalshoek's Thommy Saelens got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Quillian Stessel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Rein Opdebeeck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving J.P. J.J.. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rein Opdebeeck was the one to do the kick off. Thommy Saelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herve Stessel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Justens in the 55th minute of play forced KFC Waalshoek's goalkeeper J.P. J.J. to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thommy Saelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herve Stessel having to interfere. Rein Opdebeeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. J.P. J.J. stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quillian Stessel's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Alek Van der Roost's late challenge caught a Triquetra AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alek Van der Roost helped the player get up and apologised. Alek Van der Roost kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Triquetra AFC's Eddy Justens in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Waalshoek's goalie prevented a goal. J.P. J.J. showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quillian Stessel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. J.P. J.J. showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Opdebeeck in the 71st minute of the match. Thommy Saelens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Jorn Weijnandts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Waalshoek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Triquetra AFC the free kick. After 76 played minutes KFC Waalshoek got a freekick which was hit by Jorn Weijnandts. J.P. J.J. showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome Coomans, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. KFC Waalshoek's Jorn Weijnandts managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hans Van Huyck in the 83 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quillian Stessel in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg J.P. J.J. saved KFC Waalshoek from getting behind. Quillian Stessel struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. J.P. J.J. didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triquetra AFC. After some careless play in the KFC Waalshoek defense, Quillian Stessel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of J.P. J.J.. The KFC Waalshoek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that J.P. J.J. should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Triquetra AFC had won after a very even match.
