Spectators: 7320 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bass Versluys started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Joop Jenken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 8 minutes, Bass Versluys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kon Erger Zijn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bass Versluys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Tommie Spoelberghe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Robbrecht Colpaert kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Karel Campens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karel Campens in the 22nd minute of the match. Omar Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Spoelberghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When AFC Volkswelvaart's Karel Campens in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kon Erger Zijn's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Kon Erger Zijn's Adolfo Tauro got a free kick in the 31st minute. Joop Jenken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Jenken in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to Kon Erger Zijn getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adolfo Tauro hit a great ball. AFC Volkswelvaart's Joannes Berckmans couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kon Erger Zijn. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommie Spoelberghe made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kon Erger Zijn's goal looked a bit too open when Tommie Spoelberghe came free, but Omar Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tommie Spoelberghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvain Voorhof hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Kon Erger Zijn's Omar Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Kon Erger Zijn from getting a goal against them. Omar Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Spoelberghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kon Erger Zijn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Tommie Spoelberghe scored to the left of an out of position Omar Ramos, making the score, 0-2. Josef Bautmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pieter Van de Put tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Octave Baecke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bass Versluys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over AFC Volkswelvaart could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kon Erger Zijn throughout the match.
