Spectators: 7360 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leo Maule started the match with the kick off. Jo Gobelijns came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Viesville's Michael Van Acht. But to his dismay, Michael Van Acht quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Soup-A-Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joris Worteleers to maneuver through the defense. Soup-A-Stars's Jo Gobelijns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ritchie Wenderix in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Michael Van Acht had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jo Gobelijns. Soup-A-Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Van Acht was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Soup-A-Stars's Jo Gobelijns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Van Acht in the 19th minute of play. Jo Gobelijns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ritchie Wenderix in the 21st minute of the match. Jo Gobelijns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Van Acht, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ritchie Wenderix in the 23rd minute of play forced Soup-A-Stars's goalkeeper Jo Gobelijns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bobby Van Den Eynde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ritchie Wenderix scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jo Gobelijns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ritchie Wenderix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Maule got free with Jeff Tilemans in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Michael Van Acht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Gobelijns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Gobelijns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ritchie Wenderix in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Pieter-Jan Kempenaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viesville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter-Jan Kempenaerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Soup-A-Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Van Acht came free, but Jo Gobelijns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Soup-A-Stars defense, Ritchie Wenderix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jo Gobelijns. The Soup-A-Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jo Gobelijns should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nick Vorster during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Van Acht made a kick off. When Michael Van Acht fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viesville's protests and gave Michael Van Acht a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Van Acht hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Leo Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ritchie Wenderix's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jo Gobelijns firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 58 played minutes Soup-A-Stars got a freekick which was hit by Nicolaas Blocks. Jo Gobelijns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Van Acht, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nick Vorster hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Michael Van Acht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Gobelijns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ritchie Wenderix got free with Jo Gobelijns in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Viesville's Michael Van Acht ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jo Gobelijns. Jo Gobelijns yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When Ritchie Wenderix came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Viesville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ritchie Wenderix couldn't finish the play. Soup-A-Stars's Jo Gobelijns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Soup-A-Stars from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Toon Van Aarschot took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Jo Gobelijns to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Toon Van Aarschot took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Jo Gobelijns to make any attempt to save it. Jean Rijmenants received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jeff Tilemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ritchie Wenderix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jo Gobelijns made a huge save. Jo Gobelijns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Van Acht, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeff Tilemans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Maule in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Viesville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
