Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matthias Boklund got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Octave Gijselinx made a precise shot to the right of Billy Reijdams. SK Zuiddamme's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 6th minute, one of FC Blaasveld:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Blaasveld. The goalkeeper, Jorden Grootaerts, was totally fooled by SK Zuiddamme's Benedict Van Hoeyveld, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Matthias Boklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Billy Reijdams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Boklund in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Billy Reijdams prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Tobias De Koning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Octave Gijselinx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Frederick Gysens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Blaasveld's Jorden Grootaerts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes FC Blaasveld got a freekick which was hit by Renzo Van den Gans. 30 minutes into the match, SK Zuiddamme's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Boklund came free, but Billy Reijdams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Octave Gijselinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Reijdams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, FC Blaasveld's Octave Gijselinx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Billy Reijdams made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in SK Zuiddamme's zone, Octave Gijselinx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Reijdams came out of the goal and Octave Gijselinx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Blaasveld's Jorden Grootaerts got control of the ball when Sammy Gelens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frederick Gysens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Frederick Gysens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorden Grootaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Billy Reijdams made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Octave Gijselinx sent off a good shot on target. When Alfons De Weijgaert fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Zuiddamme's protests and gave Alfons De Weijgaert a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes SK Zuiddamme got a freekick which was hit by Alfons De Weijgaert. With a little luck, SK Zuiddamme's Billy Reijdams got control of the ball when Octave Gijselinx tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Matthias Boklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Reijdams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sammy Gelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorden Grootaerts having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octave Gijselinx got free with Billy Reijdams in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons De Weijgaert was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 80 played minutes SK Zuiddamme got a freekick which was hit by Alfons De Weijgaert. 83 minutes into the match, SK Zuiddamme's goalkeeper Billy Reijdams had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octave Gijselinx. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Matthias Boklund took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Billy Reijdams to make any attempt to save it. After 91 played minutes Matthias Boklund rounded SK Zuiddamme's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. FC Blaasveld's Octave Gijselinx got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Blaasveld's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
