FC RicardoBG's supporters rose to their feet, but Stan Laureijs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Uytterhaegen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Daan Frederickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Asbroek's zone, Stan Laureijs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Uytterhaegen came out of the goal and Stan Laureijs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernán Crespo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tom Uytterhaegen came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernán Crespo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. Bill Beaufort's late challenge caught a Asbroek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bill Beaufort helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC RicardoBG's Bill Beaufort got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Stan Laureijs struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tom Uytterhaegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC RicardoBG. Joos Imbrechts hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Henri-Xavier Van Geele kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renaud Kempenaers made a kick off. Asbroek's Daan Frederickx got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, FC RicardoBG's goal looked a bit too open when Renaud Kempenaers came free, but Aleksey Nametkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Vrijdag kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, FC RicardoBG's Stan Laureijs broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Asbroek getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Frederick Smedts hit a great ball. Daan Frederickx's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aleksey Nametkin firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 72nd minute, Stan Laureijs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC RicardoBG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 76 minutes into the match, Stan Laureijs notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Asbroek's Tom Uytterhaegen. Tom Uytterhaegen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Hernán Crespo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FC RicardoBG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernán Crespo couldn't finish the play. Tom Uytterhaegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Laureijs, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Hernán Crespo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tom Uytterhaegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stan Laureijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Renaud Kempenaers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aleksey Nametkin. The goal made the score 3-2. Hernán Crespo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Uytterhaegen having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match, Pieter-Maarten van Kelfs tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksey Nametkin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
