The supporters of Neder-Over-Heembeek booed when AFC Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olliver Castermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Niel Kortens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Neder-Over-Heembeek's Matthias De Bruyn got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Carel Dockx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnny Deflandre hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lorenz Theunis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorre Jespers in the 22nd minute of play. Niel Kortens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Vansteenbrugge having to interfere. Lorenz Theunis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carel Dockx went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A hard shot 43 in the game by Niel Kortens from a close distance when the talented Tom Vansteenbrugge managed to make a qualified save. AFC Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorre Jespers was the one to do the kick off. Neder-Over-Heembeek's Lorenz Theunis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Neder-Over-Heembeek from getting a goal against them. Matthias De Bruyn hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niel Kortens in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Vansteenbrugge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tom Vansteenbrugge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurus Schellekens, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Tom Vansteenbrugge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbrecht Delcroix in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Maurus Schellekens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neder-Over-Heembeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurus Schellekens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Vansteenbrugge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carel Dockx was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Matthis Van Beets's late challenge caught a AFC Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthis Van Beets helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, one of Neder-Over-Heembeek:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Neder-Over-Heembeek. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for AFC Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes. Louis Herpoel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lorenz Theunis. 1-3. In the 92nd minute Niel Kortens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vansteenbrugge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carel Dockx came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the AFC Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carel Dockx couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes of play, AFC Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes's Carel Dockx made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenz Theunis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFC Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
