Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diedrik Van Hooveldt took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Fre Enskens fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wilrijk's protests and gave Fre Enskens a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wilrijk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 4 played minutes, when The Eleven Titans:s Steve Clarke calmly waited for Wilrijk:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tjorven Balckmans during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 7 minutes into the game, one of The Eleven Titans:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 14th play minutes Laurence Decorte shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Patrick van der Eycken and just under the crossbar into goal. Emmanuel Roosendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Loosen in the 20th minute of the match. Patrick van der Eycken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Decorte in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Wilrijk got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian de Pelsmaecker. After 31 played minutes Wilrijk got a freekick which was hit by Fre Enskens. Sebastian de Pelsmaecker's late challenge caught a The Eleven Titans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian de Pelsmaecker helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wilrijk's Sebastian de Pelsmaecker got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute of the match, Laurence Decorte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrick van der Eycken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patrick van der Eycken didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Clarke got free with Patrick van der Eycken in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilrijk's Diedrik Van Hooveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick van der Eycken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Decorte in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefan Debruyn made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Stefan Debruyn made a precise shot to the right of Patrick van der Eycken. Wilrijk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Patrick van der Eycken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Decorte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diedrik Van Hooveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Patrick van der Eycken came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by The Eleven Titans's Stefan Debruyn. But to his dismay, Stefan Debruyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 64th minute Stefan Debruyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick van der Eycken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilrijk's Patrick van der Eycken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Debruyn in the 70th minute of play. Luke Loosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Roosendael having to interfere. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wilrijk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Steve Clarke was slow to take the kick. During this time The Eleven Titans's players had a chance to rest. Steve Clarke made a great header on The Eleven Titans's corner, it was just that Wilrijk's Patrick van der Eycken managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurence Decorte in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick van der Eycken saved Wilrijk from getting behind. In the 83rd play minute Luke Loosen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emmanuel Roosendael. 7-2. If Laurence Decorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Eleven Titans were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wilrijk for a fine match.
