Chi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reinaud Weggers 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chi's goalkeeper Diederiek Schepmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reinaud Weggers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Diederiek Schepmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grembergen's attentive Sander Laureijs managed to snatch the ball when Wayne Uijterhoven made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Fre Hombroeckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Meynen in the 32nd minute of play. Reinaud Weggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diederiek Schepmans having to interfere. In the 37th minute Mathias-Alexander Meynen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fre Hombroeckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Claus Schuts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diederiek Schepmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reinaud Weggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. Fre Hombroeckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Goffyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Chi's Gino Goffyn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fre Hombroeckx. Fre Hombroeckx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 65th minute, Gino Goffyn made a precise shot to the right of Fre Hombroeckx. Grembergen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Diederiek Schepmans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaud Weggers went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Grembergen's Fre Hombroeckx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Grembergen from getting a goal against them. Mathias-Alexander Meynen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Fre Hombroeckx made a huge save. A collision led to Chi getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Joel Van Goolen hit a great ball. Sander Laureijs hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Sem Langhmans hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
