Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abraham Van den Panhuizen made the kick off which started today's match. Remi Engelberchs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Van den Panhuizen in the 7th minute of the match. Lucien Gielens hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The long shot by Marnix Polspoel in the 12th minute really tested Matteo De Swert's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Flémalle's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Van den Panhuizen came free, but Remi Engelberchs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Rik Kempenaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remi Engelberchs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfons De Mesemacre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurenz De Spiegeleire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo De Swert having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Laurenz De Spiegeleire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flémalle and the Samart players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfons De Mesemacre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Flémalle getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Martijn Henskens hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Samart's goalkeeper Matteo De Swert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfons De Mesemacre. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Jarno Bruyneel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons De Mesemacre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo De Swert having to interfere. Abraham Van den Panhuizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matteo De Swert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons De Mesemacre in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Samart's goal looked a bit too open when Laurenz De Spiegeleire came free, but Matteo De Swert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samart's Matteo De Swert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons De Mesemacre in the 73rd minute of play. Alfons De Mesemacre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Matteo De Swert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rik Kempenaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Abraham Van den Panhuizen took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Remi Engelberchs to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st match minute, Samart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucien Gielens to maneuver through the defense. Matteo De Swert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons De Mesemacre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons De Mesemacre in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matteo De Swert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Philippe Dekker fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samart's protests and gave Philippe Dekker a yellow card for diving instead. Laurenz De Spiegeleire blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matteo De Swert having to make a save. 94 minutes into the match, Alfons De Mesemacre notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Samart's Matteo De Swert. Matteo De Swert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
