In the 28thth minute of the game Edmond Armentier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frietjes Met Mayonaise's Serge Bauwens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karel-Jan Shamp made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jon Hasselqvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 35thth minute of the game Alexander Cockaerts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De snollies's Karel-Jan Shamp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serge Bauwens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Willems, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, De snollies's Andries Rauvoe got a free kick in the 37th minute. Frietjes Met Mayonaise's Alexander Cockaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jon Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Hasselqvists short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Karel-Jan Shamp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, De snollies's Andries Rauvoe got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Edmond Armentier made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Frietjes Met Mayonaise got a freekick which was hit by Maxime Vandenberge. Serge Bauwens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Armentier, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Frietjes Met Mayonaise's Serge Bauwens got control of the ball when Pierre-Olivier Laremans tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Frietjes Met Mayonaise's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Olivier Laremans came free, but Serge Bauwens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De snollies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Frietjes Met Mayonaise defense, Dan Willems kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serge Bauwens. The Frietjes Met Mayonaise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serge Bauwens should have stopped the shot. Alexander Cockaerts took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karel-Jan Shamp. Karel-Jan Shamp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Edmond Armentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Bauwens having to interfere.
