De snollies's Dan Willems got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to KVSK Kasteelheide getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Casper Schellekens hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Edmond Armentier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timmy Kindermans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dan Willems struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Timmy Kindermans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De snollies. Rudy Marrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KVSK Kasteelheide's zone, Edmond Armentier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Kindermans came out of the goal and Edmond Armentier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timmy Kindermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Willems, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Armentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Kindermans having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, De snollies's Edmond Armentier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timmy Kindermans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Willems in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timmy Kindermans saved KVSK Kasteelheide from getting behind. Yoeri De Baere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karel-Jan Shamp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Edmond Armentier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmy Kindermans having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Dan Willems ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timmy Kindermans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of KVSK Kasteelheide booed when De snollies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Olivier Laremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Yoeri De Baere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The KVSK Kasteelheide players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De snollies were winning 0-2.

If Edmond Armentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Edmond Armentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Kindermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KVSK Kasteelheide's Timmy Kindermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Armentier in the 59th minute of play. Yoeri De Baere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel-Jan Shamp having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Edmond Armentier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes KVSK Kasteelheide got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Nys. In the 71st minute, Casper Schellekens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as De snollies's Edmond Armentier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Timmy Kindermans. That made the score 0-3 after 73 minutes of play. Timmy Kindermans acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Viktor Van Eyck. Dan Willems could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Timmy Kindermans made a huge save. De snollies's Dan Willems got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Willems struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Timmy Kindermans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De snollies. Casper Schellekens got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 93 played minutes KVSK Kasteelheide got a freekick which was hit by Casper Schellekens. De snollies's Dan Willems got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded De snollies left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KVSK Kasteelheide.
