The tension between the KAA Zwijnaarde and the Langemark players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Langemark's Hubert Latomme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Langemark's Matteo Depelsmaker suffered a sore thigh after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 21 played minutes KAA Zwijnaarde got a freekick which was hit by Christoff Correyns. Sander Vos made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Hubert Latomme sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Sander Vos managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Langemark's Hubert Latomme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Hubert Latomme put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sander Vos. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dimitri Du Sausois managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langemark's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitri Du Sausois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sander Vos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitri Du Sausois was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Langemark's Dimitri Du Sausois got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Van Herck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Ray Bollaert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ray Bollaert hit a great ball. If Ray Bollaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Uijterhoeven struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sander Vos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Langemark. Ray Bollaert hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Hubert Latomme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KAA Zwijnaarde's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
