Charles-Louis Bruyninckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Pijps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, AFC Vlesenbeek's goalkeeper Bjorn Ackermans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Deman. Bjorn Ackermans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Deman in the 8th minute. When Yannik Lambrechs came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC Doggen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannik Lambrechs couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute of the match, Alex Deman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bjorn Ackermans was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. FC Doggen's Charles-Louis Bruyninckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Van Menen in the 20th minute of play. If Alex Deman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Yannik Lambrechs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles-Louis Bruyninckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Eli in the 27th minute of the match. Billy Van Menen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Louis Bruyninckx having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Joseph Eli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Vlesenbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Eli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles-Louis Bruyninckx came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Vlesenbeek's Billy Van Menen. But to his dismay, Billy Van Menen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Billy Van Menen put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Charles-Louis Bruyninckx. In the 40th minute, Alex Van Der Linden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Vlesenbeek's goalkeeper Bjorn Ackermans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 played minutes AFC Vlesenbeek got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Fleck. After the first half AFC Vlesenbeek were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yannik Lambrechs was the one to do the kick off. Alex Deman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Ackermans having to interfere. Yannik Lambrechs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bjorn Ackermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Billy Van Menen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Doggen's Charles-Louis Bruyninckx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Billy Van Menen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles-Louis Bruyninckx was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, FC Doggen's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Van Menen came free, but Charles-Louis Bruyninckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Billy Van Menen came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the AFC Vlesenbeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Van Menen couldn't finish the play. Charles-Louis Bruyninckx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Pijps went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Billy Van Menen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jan Pijps struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Charles-Louis Bruyninckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Vlesenbeek. Yannik Lambrechs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute Billy Van Menen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles-Louis Bruyninckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC Vlesenbeek's Bjorn Ackermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Deman in the 92nd minute of play. Ray De Coster made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alex Deman however managed to control. Yannik Lambrechs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Ackermans having to interfere.
