Spectators: 7356 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luke Vanhaeren made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luke Vanhaeren got free with Stefan Du Molin in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of KSV Coolegem booed when KSV Snaaskerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaud Ottevaere didn't get a good kick on the ball. KSV Snaaskerke's Harold Van Houdtvinck got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luke Vanhaeren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Du Molin was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Joannes Marrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yvan Sas in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Steffe De Mesemaekre managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Coolegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffe De Mesemaekre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Du Molin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luke Vanhaeren struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Stefan Du Molin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Coolegem. Stefan Du Molin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Van Bockorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Leon Van Bockorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Du Molin having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, KSV Coolegem's goal looked a bit too open when Yvan Sas came free, but Joannes Marrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Vanhaeren in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Du Molin saved KSV Snaaskerke from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luke Vanhaeren in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Du Molin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luke Vanhaeren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When KSV Coolegem's Luke Vanhaeren in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KSV Snaaskerke's goalie prevented a goal. Joannes Marrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Van Houdtvinck in the 37th minute of the match. Stefan Du Molin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luke Vanhaeren's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Cederic Van Dijck hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harold Van Houdtvinck made a kick off. KSV Snaaskerke's Stefan Du Molin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederic Van Dijck in the 53rd minute of play. Yvan Sas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, KSV Coolegem's Luke Vanhaeren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Du Molin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Yvan Sas could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Joannes Marrant however easily saved by the left post. In the 73rd minute of the match, Harold Van Houdtvinck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joannes Marrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luke Vanhaeren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Stefan Du Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, KSV Coolegem's Steffe De Mesemaekre made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Du Molin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82ndth minute of the game Luke Vanhaeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KSV Snaaskerke's Stefan Du Molin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cederic Van Dijck came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the KSV Coolegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cederic Van Dijck couldn't finish the play. When KSV Coolegem's Luke Vanhaeren in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KSV Snaaskerke's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the match, KSV Coolegem's Steffe De Mesemaekre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Du Molin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Harold Van Houdtvinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Yvan Sas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Joannes Marrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, Steffe De Mesemaekre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KSV Coolegem had played much better football throughout.
