Spectators: 7316 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yanis De Clerk took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Ludo De Block shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Koerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Yüce Cömert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FREETOWN's Jan Koerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Marchal in the 7th minute of play. Jan Koerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludo De Block went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Yanis De Clerk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Bouwmans. AFC DeHaan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yanis De Clerk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jan Koerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Servranckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomas De Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Bouwmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yanis De Clerk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, FREETOWN's Rupert Ferneborg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patrick Bouwmans. Patrick Bouwmans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Ludo De Block notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FREETOWN's Jan Koerts. Jan Koerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yüce Cömert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steve Servranckx kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jan Koerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludo De Block, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 55th match minute, FREETOWN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Ferneborg to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes, AFC DeHaan's Raf Vercouteren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Koerts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC DeHaan reached it. With a little luck, FREETOWN's Jan Koerts got control of the ball when Steve Servranckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th play minute Steve Servranckx came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Koerts. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Servranckx got free with Jan Koerts in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68thth minute of the game Yanis De Clerk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC DeHaan's Patrick Bouwmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes of play, FREETOWN's Yanis De Clerk made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Bouwmans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas De Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Bouwmans having to interfere. When FREETOWN's Yanis De Clerk in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AFC DeHaan's Patrick Bouwmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanis De Clerk in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Yanis De Clerk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FREETOWN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yanis De Clerk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AFC DeHaan's Patrick Bouwmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanis De Clerk in the 88th minute of play. AFC DeHaan's Steve Servranckx got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Toon Pelsers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Bouwmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FREETOWN players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
