If Rafael Standaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Meux getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Yannis Artois hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Club Meux's goal looked a bit too open when Piet Toussain came free, but Nic Theys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasne's Phillipe Provoost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Lasne from getting a goal against them. Club Meux's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
