Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Wes Steenbecks started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Stephen Van Aerschodt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berten Van Laeck's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Vellare's Niels Daniels got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Oosthoek's Berten Van Laeck in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vellare's goalie prevented a goal. Berten Van Laeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berten Van Laeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Van Aerschodt having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oosthoek's Rafael Netels got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Oosthoek got a freekick which was hit by Tran Delamenin. Gregorie Valckeneers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Goethals having to interfere. Wes Steenbecks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Van Aerschodt having to interfere. Oosthoek's Jim Goethals proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Oosthoek from getting a goal against them. If Berten Van Laeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauren Waeberghe made a kick off. Stephen Van Aerschodt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berten Van Laeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Rafael Netels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jim Goethals made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorie Valckeneers in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Oosthoek's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorie Valckeneers came free, but Jim Goethals reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Goethals stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauren Waeberghe's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Jim Goethals showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorie Valckeneers in the 67th minute of the match. If Wes Steenbecks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wes Steenbecks struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Stephen Van Aerschodt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oosthoek. Rudi De Greef hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Nicolas Laurent, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gregorie Valckeneers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vellare's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorie Valckeneers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Goethals breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Wes Steenbecks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephen Van Aerschodt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorie Valckeneers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Goethals came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Vellare's Lauren Waeberghe. But to his dismay, Lauren Waeberghe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Many of Oosthoek's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Oosthoek may have spent more time on the ball, but Vellare were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
