Spectators: 5400 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1350, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Douglas Slaghmeulders kicked off to start the match. A collision led to South of Heaven getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Felix Rico hit a great ball. Peter Langendonckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Lourenço Pedroso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charles-Antoine Van De Gehuchte, 1-0. Lourenço Pedroso in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Charles-Antoine Van De Gehuchte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lourenço Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Willy Maeijnaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roben Kints saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KV Neerpelt's Refael Schoenmaekers got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of KV Neerpelt booed when South of Heaven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jozef Móder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roben Kints took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Slaghmeulders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Lourenço Pedroso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charles-Antoine Van De Gehuchte, 2-0. Roben Kints showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Coenen in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. Roben Kints made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hannes Coenen in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, South of Heaven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Móder to maneuver through the defense. Peter Langendonckx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roben Kints. South of Heaven's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Neerpelt's goalkeeper Charles-Antoine Van De Gehuchte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacq van Hacht got free with Roben Kints in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. South of Heaven were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
