Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Waasdonk's Jeremey Nijs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Paulus De Beer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Imbrechs was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Jeremey Nijs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armand Adriaensens having to interfere. Maffe's Armand Adriaensens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremey Nijs in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jeremey Nijs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waasdonk's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremey Nijs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armand Adriaensens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorn Severens hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Paulus De Beer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Imbrechs made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Gunter Ingelborchs sent off a good shot on target. In the 19thth minute of the game Mattheo Weets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maffe's Armand Adriaensens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Mattheo Weets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waasdonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattheo Weets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Mattheo Weets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armand Adriaensens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Imbrechs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus De Beer in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Waasdonk's goalkeeper Michael Imbrechs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunter Ingelborchs. Armand Adriaensens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattheo Weets in the 30th minute of the match. If Gunter Ingelborchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitch Debock helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Waasdonk getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mitch Debock hit a great ball. Michael Imbrechs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunter Ingelborchs in the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Paulus De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maffe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulus De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Imbrechs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulus De Beer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Waasdonk got a freekick which was hit by Pieter-Jan Van Dessen. In the 82nd match minute, Waasdonk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steff Bastin to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Waasdonk's Steff Bastin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 92nd minute, Jeremey Nijs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armand Adriaensens. The goal made the score 0-2. The Maffe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Waasdonk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
