Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) Fabrice Imberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ron Rombouts in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Ron Rombouts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WC Kurpeks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stablo the free kick. After a rather tough play, WC Kurpeks's Ron Rombouts got a free kick in the 4th minute. Alexander Ghesels hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Anthony Ceulemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Rostow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glen van Hacht received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabrice Imberechts came out and tried to block the shot, but Glen van Hacht slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. If Glen van Hacht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luckas Reiniers got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Basiel Wijgaert. The supporters of Stablo booed when WC Kurpeks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glen van Hacht didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Stablo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Senne Ingelbert to maneuver through the defense. Jan Rostow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Van Aken's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Stablo's Fabrice Imberechts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Stablo from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viktor Van Aken to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Viktor Van Aken dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Rostow, 1-1. Fabrice Imberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Rombouts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Van Akens short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Jan Rostow to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 70 minutes into the match, Viktor Van Aken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Rostow. WC Kurpeks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viktor Van Aken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Basiel Wijgaert took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrice Imberechts. Fabrice Imberechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Jan Rostow stood somewhat misplaced when Viktor Van Aken came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 87 minute. Basiel Wijgaert's late challenge caught a Stablo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basiel Wijgaert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Basiel Wijgaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Stablo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stablo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
