Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viktor Van Aken took the kick off in the first half of the match. Viktor Van Aken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harrie Ravoet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrice Imberechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stablo's Fabrice Imberechts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Stablo from getting a goal against them. After 26th play minutes Viktor Van Aken shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Jaques Breugelmans and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lebbeke's Andris Carpenter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabrice Imberechts. That made the score 2-2 after 31 minutes of play. Maxim Van Eersel might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrice Imberechts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Van Eersel ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Stablo's Fabrice Imberechts got control of the ball when Maxim Van Eersel tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The supporters of Stablo booed when Lebbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andris Carpenter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Lebbeke got a freekick which was hit by Gertjan Huyberechts. Viktor Van Aken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jaques Breugelmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrice Imberechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrie Ravoet in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lebbeke's zone, Viktor Van Aken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaques Breugelmans came out of the goal and Viktor Van Aken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Gertjan Huyberechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 75 minutes, Maxim Van Eersel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lebbeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Van Eersel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Harrie Ravoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrice Imberechts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrice Imberechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Van Eersel, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Lebbeke getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arnold Deflandre hit a great ball. Fabrice Imberechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart-Jan Van der Hoeven in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Stablo got a freekick which was hit by Waud Henderickx. Maxim Van Eersel took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrice Imberechts. Fabrice Imberechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Lebbeke's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
