An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Vanbuyten in the 21st minute of play forced Dinamo Neverlusen's goalkeeper Pieterjan Van Den Eijnde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pieterjan Van Den Eijnde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Vanbuyten in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of KFC Bruly booed when Dinamo Neverlusen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joris Maerschalcx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perry Roeckeloes might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasper Weygaerts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perry Roeckeloes ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Dinamo Neverlusen getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Aime Denijs hit a great ball. Pieterjan Van Den Eijnde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berten Maerschalk in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Bernard De Schutter came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the KFC Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard De Schutter couldn't finish the play. Levi Callewaert kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Dinamo Neverlusen's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Vanbuyten came free, but Pieterjan Van Den Eijnde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bernard De Schutter came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the KFC Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard De Schutter couldn't finish the play. KFC Bruly's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joris Maerschalcx 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Albert Vanbuyten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pieterjan Van Den Eijnde was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Neverlusen's Joris Maerschalcx got a free kick in the 88th minute. Perry Roeckeloes struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Kasper Weygaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Neverlusen. Perry Roeckeloes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, KFC Bruly's Etienne Dams got a free kick in the 97th minute. Dinamo Neverlusen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
