Spectators: 7368 (Terracing: 5578, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 90) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Will Van Cruchten kicked off to start the match. Matthis Rouvroye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Van Cruchten in the 8th minute of play. Jorge Castermans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Matthis Rouvroye skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Leuven KFC Driesje's Will Van Cruchten in the 24th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Matthis Rouvroye was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Alpha Youth Academy through an amazing save. A collision led to Alpha Youth Academy getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bart Wery hit a great ball. Jorge Castermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Matthis Rouvroye made a huge save. With his leg Matthis Rouvroye managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Leuven KFC Driesje's Jorge Castermans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Alpha Youth Academy's Matthis Rouvroye got control of the ball when Jorge Castermans tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Rudy Van den Bergh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Alpha Youth Academy a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brent-Jan Poelmans, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Leuven KFC Driesje's Kris Van Nel. 1-1. 1-2 became the score in the 46th minute when Rudy Van den Bergh elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Alpha Youth Academy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Will Van Cruchten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthis Rouvroye was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpha Youth Academy's goalkeeper Matthis Rouvroye, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudy Van den Bergh came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kris Van Nel could save by the left post. Kris Van Nel made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Rudy Van den Bergh sent off a good shot on target. Rudy Van den Bergh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Kris Van Nel made a huge save. In the 74th minute Jorge Castermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthis Rouvroye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudy Van den Bergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Bart Wery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kris Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Alpha Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Castermans came free, but Matthis Rouvroye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alpha Youth Academy's Matthis Rouvroye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Castermans in the 79th minute of play. Rudy Van den Bergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kris Van Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Leuven KFC Driesje's Kris Van Nel got control of the ball when Rudy Van den Bergh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthis Rouvroye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Castermans in the 87th minute of play. Matthis Rouvroye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Castermans in the 91st minute of the match. Rudy Van den Bergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kris Van Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Will Van Cruchten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthis Rouvroye having to interfere. The Leuven KFC Driesje supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alpha Youth Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Alpha Youth Academy.
