Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilio Marconi started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Trognee getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bruno Raymaekers hit a great ball. The long shot by Lou Valckeners in the 5th minute really tested Felix Maerschalck's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Emilio Marconi struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Felix Maerschalck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Soccer Bears. FC Soccer Bears's Teun Sterckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Imbreghts in the 16th minute of play. Felix Maerschalck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Marconi in the 18th minute of play. Felix Maerschalck came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Soccer Bears's Cihat Yıldırım. But to his dismay, Cihat Yıldırım quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bruno Raymaekers kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. FC Soccer Bears's Axel Stroobans quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jon Vrancx, made in the 30th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Van Mellaert in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teun Sterckx saved FC Soccer Bears from getting behind. Emilio Marconi struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Felix Maerschalck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Soccer Bears. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Imbreghts to make the kick off. Cihat Yıldırım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Felix Maerschalck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teun Sterckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Imbreghts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Maerschalck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Marconi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Cihat Yıldırım notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Trognee's Felix Maerschalck. Felix Maerschalck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 76 minutes, Cihat Yıldırım made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Trognee's Felix Maerschalck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Soccer Bears booed when Trognee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Imbreghts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Emilio Marconi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Soccer Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Marconi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Raymaekers tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Felix Maerschalck. An unnecessary self made goal, 6-0 in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Emilio Marconi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Maerschalck was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Emilio Marconi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Soccer Bears's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Marconi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Maerschalck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Maerschalck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cihat Yıldırım went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. FC Soccer Bears walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
