Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andreas Vuerinx kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Kortessem United booed when Voorne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Vos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Van Beets struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Corneel Van Elsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kortessem United. Miguel Verstappen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sean De Hertoghe. In the 14th minute, Andreas Vuerinx fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miguel Verstappen, passed just outside the right post. Mats Van Beets might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneel Van Elsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Van Beets ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Verstappen made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Claus Lanphan sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Verstappen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Vuerinx in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Andreas Vuerinx made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kortessem United's Miguel Verstappen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Vuerinx in the 26th minute of play forced Kortessem United's goalkeeper Miguel Verstappen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Voorne's Claus Lanphan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 27 minutes in the game, fortunately Miguel Verstappen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Kortessem United's Miguel Verstappen got control of the ball when Claus Lanphan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Claus Lanphan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Van Beets scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Corneel Van Elsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes Kortessem United got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Van Eijken. Miguel Verstappen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Vuerinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tibaut Struijf made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Voorne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederic Gelens to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Alphonse Van Eijken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Voorne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby Vos to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Verstappen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Vuerinx in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Voorne getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Andreas Vuerinx hit a great ball. Yannis Leyman lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Kortessem United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Voorne. Gregorie Kest stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Verstappen. 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Vuerinx in the 89th minute of play forced Kortessem United's goalkeeper Miguel Verstappen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Voorne's Andreas Vuerinx in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kortessem United's goalie prevented a goal. Andreas Vuerinx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Andreas Vuerinx came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Voorne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Vuerinx couldn't finish the play. Miguel Verstappen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claus Lanphan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Voorne had won after a very even match.
